Review: Did Eminem’s ‘Revival’ album flop before it was even released?

Did Eminem’s ‘Revival’ album drop before it was even released? If you have been sleeping under a rock you might not know that Eminem’s ‘Revival’ album leaked yesterday earlier than its scheduled debut at midnight Dec 15, 2017, the internet has heard it and seem to have already rated critiqued the project. Eminem has dropped an album since The Marshall Mathers LP 2, in 2013, and fans seemed to be underwhelmed with the album which leaked earlier than expected. A lot of people including one of Eminem’s biggest stans Joe Budden called out Eminem for the projects singles and tracklist before the leak even surfaced, and many are infuriated that the album has so many pop-star guest appearances. Beyoncé, PINK, Kehlani, Phresher, Ed Sheeran, Skylar Grey, Alica Keys, & X Ambassadors are all featured on the album making Phresher the only rapper featured on the project. Word on the streets is that Eminem released Atlanta rapper 2 Chainz from “Chloraseptic” and it seems to be accurate after we finally heard the track.

There are a number of gripes with the album but most people are angered at the albums “pop” & “woke” direction which Joe Budden insist was not Eminem’s choice, but rather the record label. There is only one actual “rap” song on “Revival” where Eminem actually delivered what fans actually wanted with “Offended” which is hands down the best track on the project.
